J ust imagine there was only one planet to harbor life in the vast expanse of the universe.
Imagine that there was a universally privileged few chosen to live there.
Imagine that those who lived there did all they could to commit planetary suicide/genocide.
Ask this: Would those beings really deserve the privilege of living there?
Look, Ma!!! I found the Garden of Eden!!!
It's in center of the little blue dot!
Going to another planet is a fallicy.
We will spend billions, even trillions merely to prove that we can go to Mars.
So, are you going to buy a deer lease on Mars? It's a 2 year, $35 billion round-trip for your hunting weekend.
Did I mention you can't breathe there and it's -50° below?
The United States has spent an estimated $8 trillion on post-9/11 wars, including the conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Pakistan, since 2001.
Just look at the great return on our investments!
Four trillion dollars should just about be right to clean up the planet! A bargain!
But once the planet is cleaned up, how are the clean-up workers going to feed their families?
I guess we can re-train them to pollute the planet!
Here is the actual end game...
We are consuming our planet with blithe ferocity.
There will not be resouces left for the coming generations.
Our economies rely on consuming, and we are gluttons.
Death, famine, pestilence, wars, violence etc. is our end game.
We will say, "What? Me worry? I'll be dead by then."
Will science save us? I don't think so.
Science goes to the highest bidder commercial or institutional.
Yes, many studies have been done. Voila!
There will be more studies next year. Voila!
NO ACTION!
It's like a TV series that never reaches a conclusion.
Perhaps we will get a cliffhanger at the end of the episode.
But like the Oak Island series, the treasure will never be found.
All you need to do is to string the public along so that the cash keeps coming in.
Money! That's all we need!
The Earth and We, Ourselves, ...BE DAMNED!
